About GlobalPublicSphere.org
In an increasingly globalized world, our conceptions and expectations of international relations, business, cultural exchanges, and political order have transformed to no longer adhere to old paradigms. We increasingly find ourselves ill-equipped to comprehend or explain the complexity of new interactions and relationships.
To facilitate that understanding, GlobalPublicSphere.org welcomes the contributions from a multi-disciplinary framework of theorists, policymakers, activists, practitioners, and business to dialogue and improve our knowledge about the practices, strategies, and trends in global culture, media, politics, and economics.
GlobalPublicSphere.org acts as a forum to engage in dialogue and serve as a resource for drawing attention to some of the emerging concepts and trends in global communication and understanding. It does so through a rich web-based dialogue, international conferences, and guided topical portfolios. GlobalPublicSphere.org focuses its portfolio on four topics categories:
-
History of Global Communication;
-
Politics and Policymaking;
-
Intercultural Communication; and,
-
Technology and Networking
Each was chosen to provide a framework for focusing the initial discussions, but were never intended to be exclusive. As we move forward, new and different topical areas will be added to the portfolio.
